The Churches of St Wilfrid's & St Mary's
in the Parishes of Monk Fryston & South Milford
Welcome to our Benefice Website!
Our Church of England benefice forms part of the Selby Deanery in the Diocese of York.
We hope this website, through its various links will give you an insight into life in our community, its history, acts of worship and social events.
Our two churches form a United Benefice in the parishes of Monk Fryston, South Milford, Hillam and Burton Salmon along with the hamlets of Lumby, Newthorpe and Poole.
The two churches are located approx. two miles apart. All the villages are in the county of North Yorkshire, England.

FLOODLIGHTING SPONSORS
Thank you to our supporters - and we hope that all
members of the community enjoy the beautiful impression
that a fully floodlit St Wilfrid’s gives of our marvellous parish.

Thank you to all who have sponsored the floodlights at St
Wilfrid’s during the winter and early spring - they will go off
now until the autumn, and if you would like to consider
sponsoring the floodlighting for a single week at some point
during late 2017 and early 2018, then please contact Stuart
Twidale on 01977 684180.
(One week’s sponsorship is £30 which is the costs of electricity for
that period)
